The five psychological stages of coping with death and dying are exactly the same as with coping with any trauma, including the trauma of a BIG lie. First Stage - Denial; Second Stage - Anger; Third Stage - Bargaining; Forth Stage - Depression; and finally the Fifth Stage - Acceptance.
Most stay in the first stage: “No, not my country. My Government and its mouthpiece, the Corporate Media, love me. Evil only exists beyond our shores.” Some people in this stage are unconsciously trying to gain time to adjust. Others, will go further and consciously consent to what George Orwell called ‘crimestop’ in his masterpiece novel - 1984 - which dissects totalitarian rule. In modern parlance - 'they floss it out, blisstard style'.
Most who believe they have in fact accepted the reality of the trauma, or a 'new' truth, are really still in the 'Bargaining' Stage': “OK, this swine flu hoax was obviously a BIG Corporate Media propaganda production to secure future advertising revenue from their biggest advertisers - BIG Pharma. And it was also BIG political machine grease to secure campaign funding (bribes) from their biggest ‘supporters’ - BIG Pharma. And the end result will be 3-to-5 mandatory flu-shots this fall, contaminated with the same Alzheimer’s causing, sterility causing, immune deficiency causing, cancer causing viruses that the Gardasil, Polio, Hepatitis B and other shots contain. Within five years, Vitamin FV (flu vaccine) will be a required i ngredient of every food product until we are reduced to a goblin like subspecies of humans alive only to serve the elite international banksters. So what? Who cares? We can’t do anything about it. The bargain, the compromise here is, "I don't have a magic bullet to get what I want - liberty and justice - so I'll ignore the threat - the tyrannical tiptoe."
This is a common rationalization for inaction, for not acting on the truth. Another less obvious form of bargaining is when you hear - "Why isn't anyone else waking up? People need to get with it!"
These slackers expect others to do the fighting, the leg work for them - "They (the blisstards) don't see the enemy - the tyrannical tiptoe - so I'll get mad at them instead of working constructively towards what I want - liberty and justice."
When a dying person has enough time, he or she may eventually and peacefully accept death. Hopefully, we the living have enough time to accept the truth of the ages - Corporate and Government powers are fundamentally opposed to Individual Liberty and Basic Human Rights. It's extremely difficult to accept the truth that humans do evil intentionally because it usually means shattering foundational paradigms, like the belief there is actually a difference between the Republican and Democratic political party machines. There isn't.
In Mein Kampf, Hitler explained the staying power of the Big Lie as the perfect impenatrable barrier stopping most from getting at the truth:
